The thebikerpage.com Blog
11.07.2006Updated Site FeaturesTime to give the ole site a breath of fresh air - note the much better floating text over links on the pixel grid to include the link image.
Hang loose for now,
Pete
21.04.2006Trade Press ReleaseIf you are in the trade, then you may have seen The Biker Page article on page 4 of the May 2006 edition of British Dealer News - the leading trade publication for the motorcycle industry. The article talks about the benefits of targeted advertising for motorcycles in pixel form. Thanks to Roger Willis and Paul Baggott at BDN for that.
Currently planning my next promotion so be part of it and get on The Page!
28.03.2006Easing into Site PromotionThe site seems to have settled down now with the final touches complete. I've changed the logo from the old Indian bike to a far more sporty one (created from a photo of yours truely nailing a Triumph TT600 around the Brands Hatch Indi circuit - wicked). The first official magazine advertisement for the site is booked in a leading motorcycle publications May edition due out 18th April. The mag has a circulation of 8,500 and should promote motorcycle sales through links from my site. For further details on this just ask. Pete
10.03.2006All Revved UpWe are almost ready to kick-start The Biker Page, which I am really excited about. More excited even than spring creeping round the corner and dusting the ole leathers off and checkin' the oil. I'm getting the final touches to the site finished off over the next few days and am putting a lot of time and effort into publicising the site launch through numerous press releases over the next few days which will get the ball rolling.
There are already a few advertisers lined up and some good biking events on the immediate horizon. All this should come good for our official site launch planned for the end of March (I'm sorry, I'm just not launching on April Fool's day - that's just asking for it!)
What else can I say for my first entry - polish yer pipes and watch this space...
